Throughout last 20 years the research group composed of a number of enthusiasts in the field from all over the world were meeting once a year in Poland to discuss their research. Our meetings have resulted in a number of research papers published in top international journals as well as books published by Springer. We used to meet in a lovely small conference center in Grodek at Dunajec river (see https://cfr-arka.pl/). However, one of the founding places for this research was the Center for Stochastic Process of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. With Professor Harry Hurd as one of the leaders. It is time now to go back to the roots of the research dedicated to PC models and their applications. That’s why this year we organize our meeting in Chapel Hill.
